Description

Tormore 2008 is a special and limited 15 year old Tormore pulled straight from a single barrel. It is matured in Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheons, a rare finish for this Speyside malt. Crafted by the independent bottler Infrequent Flyers, exclusively for the UK market, this is one of only a very limited 678 bottles. Notes of stewed raisins and sultanas.

Nose
Aromas of fruit loaf, toffee apples, boozy sultanas, and cinnamon pastries. Deep, heavy fruit aromas, rum and raisin fudge, oven-baked apples and raisin strudel.
Palate
Juicy raisins and sultanas, generously sherried fruit cake, toffee, and cacao. Weighty, mouth-coating and lush, with classic PX Sherry influence.
Finish
Sweet, warming spices linger, with cinnamon snaps and candied ginger. Short to medium finish, smooth but lasting.
