The Alister Walker Whisky Company is based in Grangemouth and was established in 2018. The founder of the independent bottler Alister Walker has over 20 years of experience in the whisky industry that dates back to January of 1997. The whiskies themselves are bottled under the name Infrequent Flyers, most of the releases are single malt but from time to time they will release a single grain. Rich, dark layers of fruit loaf, boozy sultanas, toffee apples, and cinnamon pastries. Deep, heavy fruit aromas, rum and raisin fudge, oven-baked apples and raisin strudel.
Palate
Heaps of juicy raisins and sultanas, generously sherried fruit cake, toffee, and cacao. Weighty, mouth-coating and lush, with classic PX Sherry influence - stewed raisins and sultanas, rich cocoa and molten brown sugar, cinnabons, with a touch of warming all-spice and ginger.
Finish
Sweet, warming spices linger, with cinnamon snaps and candied ginger.
