Description
This Tullamore Dew, bottled in the 1970s, is a rare expression produced after a fire destroyed the original distillery, leading to the relocation of operations to a new site. During the 1970s, Irish whiskey like this was especially popular in Italy, where enthusiasts were drawn to its tropical fruit flavours. Production was transferred to the Midleton Distillery, County Cork, in the 1970s after the original distillery closed in 1954.
