Description

Tullibardine 225 Sauternes Finish is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky that was launched as part of a new core range in 2013. It is initially matured in ex-Bourbon barrels before being finished for approximately 12 months in 225-liter Sauternes Premier Cru casks from Château Suduiraut in the Bordeaux region of France. The '225' in the name refers to the capacity of these finishing casks. Tullibardine Distillery, established in 1949, is located in Blackford, Perthshire, and is known for its rich history of brewing and distilling dating back to 1488.
