Nose
Extremely dense with dark, sticky fruits, damp pipe tobaccos, plum wine, aniseed, rancio, green walnut liqueur, and date molasses. Hints of fruit cake, Serrano ham, and blackberry.
Palate
Rich and balanced with fig puree, strawberry jam, treacle, dark chocolate with sea salt, pickled walnut, and sweetened black coffee. Notes of ground coffee, tobacco leaves, and chewy medjool dates.
Finish
Long and perfectly drying, with herbal bitters, liquorice bark, treacle, aniseed, clove, and hessian. A little nutty with coffee pot dregs.
