Description

The Uncle Nearest Master Blend Edition is a premium Tennessee Whiskey, personally curated and blended by Master Blender Victoria Eady Butler, a fifth-generation descendant of Nearest Green. It is a blend of hand-selected barrels, chosen as the most spectacular from various batches. This whiskey honors Nearest Green, the world's first known African-American master distiller, and continues his legacy through a unique charcoal mellowing process (Lincoln County Filtration) and aging in new, charred American oak barrels in a non-temperature controlled rickhouse. Every Master Blend Edition is bottled at cask strength at the Nearest Green Distillery in Shelbyville, Tennessee.
