Nose
The nose opens with toffee and honeycomb before moving into light berry notes and hints of hay and barley. A soft musky perfume quality and gentle mint add further intrigue, with a faint apple note and subtle hints of fruit, spice and smoke.
Palate
The palate entry is surprisingly full, with honey, cream, and caramel arriving first. Mid-palate, gentle spice and ginger emerge alongside sweet florals, developing into a ginger cake–like warmth accented by butter. It is rich and balanced.
Finish
The finish is medium in length with lingering pepper and a clean, slightly sweet cereal note. A faint hint of apple rounds things off pleasantly, with a rich and smooth, long finish.
