Description

This is the oldest age statement release produced under the W.L. Weller brand to date, and the first age-stated wheat whiskey in the Weller lineup. Produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery, this ultra-aged Kentucky straight wheat whiskey is bottled at 90 proof and exemplifies the elegance and aging potential of W.L. Weller's original wheated mashbill. Each bottle is housed in a 700ml handcrafted crystal decanter, topped with a custom crystal stopper etched with W.L. Weller's “W” seal.

Palate
Crisp green pear, warm baking spices, vanilla, vanilla buttercream frosting, nice caramels and oak (not over-oaked), refined leathery depth, black tea dryness, rich toffee, dried fruits, and warm oak.
Finish
Long, graceful, and balanced, lingering spice (cardamom and nutmeg), waxy vanilla tone, aged leather note, dry, stately echo of oak and caramel, soft corn sweetness, cocoa, and gentle pepper.
