Description

This single malt whisky comes from the sake brewer company Wakatsuru. The production of this Sun Shine whisky is not very large and they have been distilling on and off since 1953. There was an initial production of just 20 bottles of this whisky which was an instant sell out. So in 2013 the distillery decided to release another 500 bottles of their 20 year old whisky. 50% ABV / 72cl. This rare single malt from the little-known Wakatsuru distillery was distilled in 1995 and matured for 20 years in American White Oak casks.
