Description

Waterford Wilkinstown Edition 1.1 is an Irish Single Malt Whisky crafted exclusively for the Dutch market, part of Waterford Distillery's Single Farm Origin series. It is made from barley grown by third-generation farmer Ger Kelly on his Wilkinstown farm in Wexford, Ireland. This expression embodies Waterford's commitment to terroir-driven whisky, showcasing the unique qualities of the barley and the impact of the local microclimate. It was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2021, after maturing for 3 years and 11 months in a mix of four different cask types: First Fill U.S., Virgin U.S., Premium French, and Vin Doux Naturel. The whisky is non-chill filtered and has no added coloring.
