Nose
Sweet candies and fondant, with aromas of strawberries, wheat biscuits, lime, and a malty character. Notes of black pepper, cinnamon sticks, candied orange, and mellow sweet smoke are also present.
Palate
Sweet notes of fresh lemon cake and lemon curd, boiled down apples, pepper, and malt. Light notes of lavender, rosemary, thyme, and herbal smoke, with a woody character and ginger spice.
Finish
The spice of white pepper and herbaceous smoke lingers. Charred oak, spicy zest, toasted barley, and floral peppery peat are evident, with a nice cinnamon punch and a light, ashy aftertaste.
