This Westland 9 Year Old is part of The Whisky Trail series from independent bottler Elixir Distillers. Distilled at Westland Distillery in Seattle, Washington, and aged in the Skagit Valley, this American Single Malt is a multi-vintage release, distilled between 2014 and 2016 and bottled in 2025. It is matured for a minimum of nine years in a combination of new bourbon barrels and American whisky barrels, including 2nd fill American whiskey casks. This limited release of 817 bottles combines the intensity of bourbon casks with notes of vanilla, caramel, and spiced oak, alongside the distillery's malt character providing a rich, full-bodied base with dark fruit and chocolate notes.
