Decadent Drinks, a well-known Independent Bottler, collaborated with Whisky Sponge to release this Westport 2006 17 Year Old. Westport is a 'teaspooned blended malt' from a famed Highland distillery, widely understood to be Glenmorangie, where a small amount of another single malt is added to prevent it from being bottled under the original distillery's name. This particular release, Edition No.83, was distilled in 2006, aged for 17 years in a single refill hogshead, and bottled in 2023 at 55% ABV, with an outturn of 129 bottles.
