Description

A blended Irish whiskey from Boann Distillery's The Whistler range. This triple distilled whiskey is a blend of 20% single malt and 80% grain Irish whiskey. It is initially aged for 3-4 years in first-fill bourbon barrels before receiving a minimum 12-month finish in Cognac V.S.O.P. barrels, utilizing the N.E.O.C (New Era Oak Cask) process which involves hand-shaving and toasting the staves to enhance oak spiciness and complement the candied fruit notes from the cognac influence. It is non-chill filtered and contains no caramel colouring.
