Nose: Sharp at first giving way to a heavy malt note. Caramel, orange peel, raisin, milk chocolate, mocha, lemon, cinnamon, bourbon vanilla, and apricots. Creamy salted caramel and red apples.
Palate: Sweet start with allspice, cinnamon, cloves, pineapple, and apples. Bursts of citrus fruits and pepper, evolving into salted caramel. Thick and mouth-filling with creme caramel, vanilla, apricots, white grapes, sultanas, and salted meats.
Finish: Short and dry with oakiness, lengthening with water. Long, indulgent finish with lingering notes of caramel and a gentle peppery warmth. Spicy finish with plum and banana bread.
