- Nose
- Sweet, with notes of figs, cherries, buttercream frosting, and slight vegetal 'funk.' Also rich vanilla, molasses, antique leather, floral perfume, musty/funky oak, toasted marshmallow, pipe tobacco, ripe citrus, cinnamon, ginger, clove, and sweet/spicy musk. Dark chocolate, caramel, deep oak, musty leather, and raspberry preserve.
- Palate
- Slightly hot with orange candy, strong oak, wet newspaper, and vanilla. Classic vanilla syrup, cinnamon, pepper, leather, fresh-baked sugar cookie, rich molasses, sweet cream icing, floral perfume, herbal spice, and antique musty oak. Maple syrup, caramel/candy apple, pronounced rye spice, charred vanilla, antique leather, sweet musty oak. Deepest dusty, funky oak, heavy chocolate, layered baking spice, and butterscotch.
- Finish
- Very long, dominated by dry oak with powdered sugar doughnuts and black pepper. Beautifully long & full of flavor with spicy vanilla, sweet musk, and fading herbal/floral-laced oak. Punchy & strong, long in duration with slowly diminishing oak, cinnamon, pepper, and rich vanilla. Dusty oak goes on forever, with sweet and spice mixing beautifully, crescendoing into an an almond note.
