Nose
Fine, balanced. Initially, aromas of corn, tangerine, and beeswax lend a great nobility of expression to the aromatic palette. With aeration, it evolves toward more floral (geranium, hyacinth), powdery (cocoa), and spiced notes.
Palate
Crisp, vibrant. The entry is cereal-like, while also being vanilla and fruity (apple jam, quince jelly). Licorice notes then oscillate between cinnamon, new oak, and dried fruits (cashew nuts, almond).
Finish
Long, radiant. The tasting lingers on spicy, medicinal (sinapism), and camphor flavors. With a rooty character (gentian), the finish is pleasantly salty. Long after, in retro-nasal olfaction, a bay leaf infusion refreshes the palate perfectly.
