Description

An English single malt whisky from White Peak Distillery's Wire Works brand, part of the 'Up'ards & Down'ards' series. This 'Down'ard' expression was distilled in 2019 and matured in an ex-red wine STR cask in the lower dunnage of the distillery's warehouse, as part of an experiment exploring maturation differences based on warehouse location. Bottled in 2024 at 52.7% ABV, this lightly peated, non-chill filtered release had an outturn of 330 bottles.
