- A powerful start with clear salt and pepper, mild chili, and restrained sherry notes of raisins and brown sugar. Earthy notes are balanced by milk chocolate and buttery sultana. Oak is noticeable, with dark berries, fudge, sweet oak, and a creamy texture. Red fruits like squashed strawberries, sugared cherries, and fresh raspberries are also present.
- Finish
- Long and warming, emphasizing ginger and oak spices, cinnamon, and nutmeg. It is quite tart, with bitter espresso, nutty notes, and lingering pepper.
