Description

Situated on Scotland's rugged north coast, the Wolfburn distillery was first established in 1821. The Kylver Series is named after a Viking burial stone that features an early example of the Viking runic alphabet, reflecting the history of Caithness. The 8th Release, 'Wunjo' (meaning joy or happiness), is a key bottling from the series, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2021 after 8 years of maturation. It was matured in a single Oloroso Sherry Methuselah cask.

Palate

Finish
Sweet caramel is accompanied by delicate floral notes, which fade gently away. A lingering trace of heather honey is found right at the end.
