- Spicy with distinct notes of rye, black pepper, cedar and cassia bark sweetened with a dusting of marzipan. Hints of pear, apple and almond dance in its depths, with notes of brown sugar, vanilla, licorice, citrus, mint, cinnamon stick, orange rind, creme brulee, cherry blossoms, and light floral scents.
- Palate
- Clove, rye, mint, molasses, sorghum and honey mingle together with hints of apple and malt. Also, dark brown sugar, dried fruits, tobacco, barrel char, overripe banana, white cornmeal, peppery rye spice, fresh apples, vanilla, light spice, light oak, chocolate, sweet grass, bitter citrus rind, lemon oil, and baking spice.
- Finish
- Long and sweetly spiced. Also, light pepper, leather, pears dipped in honey, vanilla, wood, brown sugar, green apple, pepper, rye spice, caramel, barrel char, herbs, wildflowers, tobacco, and dry cocoa.
