Description
A historic American whiskey company, founded in 1870 by George Garvin Brown and his brother, John Thompson Street Brown, launching its Old Forester bourbon brand the same year. It remains the flagship product alongside Jack Daniel's, Woodford Reserve and a portfolio of Scotch whisky distilleries. This Woodford Reserve Master's Collection 1838 Sweet Mash is the third or fourth release in the series, made using a 'sweet' mash of fresh grains, a revival of a historic technique where no spent grains from previous batches are used, resulting in a less acidic mash and fruitier flavors.
