Woven Experience No.14 Kaleidoscopic Scotch Whisky is a blended whisky from Woven, a premium brand launched in 2021 by Freshwater Spirits Company. This expression is part of an innovative series of blends, crafted by five industry experts in Leith, Edinburgh. The 'superblend' combines whiskies from various distilleries, including Tullibardine, Loch Lomond, and North British, with a base of three nicely aged grain whiskies and a lightly peated Speyside malt. The whisky was married in a refill PX hogshead for 40 days before bottling in 2022. It is presented as a complex and balanced whisky, with flavors that constantly change and converge on the palate, aiming to redefine the boundaries of blended whisky by putting flavor at the center, free from age statements. Only 393 bottles were produced.
