Description
Taking its name from the Gaelic meaning of "shelter" or "pasture," this whisky was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2006. It is a heavily-peated single malt from the Ardbeg distillery on the south coast of the Isle of Islay, known for its complex, creamy, and smoky character. This limited release was matured in first- and second-fill bourbon casks and is non-chill filtered.
