Nose
Juicy oranges, plum tart, candied lemon and sultanas give way to marine notes of driftwood, bonfires, seaweed and salt, with classic sweet bonfire ashes and mild tarry notes alongside raisins, figs and stewed rhubarb.
Palate
Pure sweet peat, dates wrapped in smoky bacon, herbal honeys, black pepper, and burnt orange all wrapped in a thick layer of peat smoke. Notes of wool, smoked oysters, and iodine emerge over time, with oranges, cough syrup, black peppercorns, plums, blackberries, cinnamon cake and sweetened herbal tea.
Finish
Tarry and peppery with dried fruit, dark chocolate and drying oak, with a long, camphor and tar ridden, peppery and sweet peat galore in the aftertaste, and spicy, briny notes.
