Description
The Ardbeg Alligator Committee Reserve is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky released in 2011. It is named for the 'Alligator char' given to the American oak casks it was matured in, an intense charring process that creates a thick, scaly charcoal layer resembling alligator skin. This process infuses the spirit with distinct smoky and spicy notes. This limited edition was part of the 'Committee Reserve for Discussion' series, with 10,000 bottles produced globally.
