Description

The Old & Rare Range from Douglas Laing contains whisky that it believes deserves greater recognition due to the unique and remarkable qualities the whisky possesses. Bottled in distinctive squat bottles, this range of single cask whiskies offers relatively few examples due to the angels' share taken during the maturation process. Ardbeg 51.4% ABV / 70cl Bottle Number: 122 / 137. This fabulous 29 year old Islay single malt was laid to rest at the Ardbeg distillery in 1973 and bottled by Douglas Laing & Co. for their Old & Rare Platinum Selection in 2002.
