Description

This is an 11-year-old Ardmore single malt whisky, independently bottled by Cadenhead's for the Campbeltown Malts Festival 2024. Distilled in May 2012 and bottled in May 2024 at a cask strength of 55.8% ABV, it was matured for 11 years, including a period in a Madeira cask since 2017. This limited edition release consists of 252 bottles. Ardmore is known for its peated Highland malt character.

Crisp green apples and ripe pears, dried apricots with sweet cinnamon, pear drops, rose water, strawberry laces, young mossy peat mixes with apricot jam and orange marmalade, jasmine blossoms.
Palate
Caramelized honey and spiced orange peel, toasted almonds with a hint of dark chocolate, silky, creamy texture, earthy, toasted oats, dried strawberries, sweetness (nectarines) on top, peatness (kiln) in the middle, and tart (citrus) on the bottom.
Finish
Medium-long warmth with sweet toffee, echoes of nutmeg and lingering presence, candy floss, light peat smoke, berries, manhattan cocktail, maraschino cherries, nutmeg, louder smoke and tartness.
