Description
A malt whisky distillery located in the Highland region of Scotland, Ardmore was built by Adam Teacher at the end of the 19th century to service the blending needs of his family company, Wm. Teacher & Sons. Today, the distillery is part of the Suntory Global Spirits portfolio. While its main production is a peated whisky, there is also a non-peated version called Ardlair. Due to its prominent role as a base for a blend, Ardmore is rarely found as a single malt, but a determined few followers seek it out as an independent bottling. This release was matured over three decades.
