Nose
Fresh, fruity, and dry peat with light sweet syrup, a hint of green apple, honey, damp leaves, hay, oak, fennel seed, vanilla, and faint citrus. Soft earthy peat, boiled leather, stewed tropical fruit, dark toffee, and sweet buttery oak.
Palate
Spicy sweet with candied ginger and honeyed grain. Peat and smoke trade serves with grain and oak. Light peat, smoke, vanilla, dried fruit, spicy oak, ginseng root, grass, ginger, almond, worn leather, light floral, rich leather, hot ash, chilli pepper, salt, and bourbon-like vanilla & caramel sweetness.
Finish
Peppery, dry, and astringent. Sweet and nicely long with decent peat, dry wood smoke, mouth-watering acidity, oakey tannins, a creamy note with spice, melon, ginger, fennel, toasted oak, chilli flakes, dry white wine, sweet barley, caramel, and a little toasted oak.
