Description

A luxurious Speyside single malt, this highly limited single cask whisky comes from Aultmore distillery. Distilled in 2014, the spirit spent its entire decade long maturation in a single pedro ximenez cask of the finest quality. Just 350 bottles were released for this special run by independent bottler Infrequent Flyers. Notes of dark chocolate and fig rolls.

Plush raisin fudge, honeyed apple and orange zest drift over vanilla tablet, polished oak and a hint of cinnamon.
Palate
Silky bursts of treacle toffee, sweet malt and fig jam coat the tongue, followed by clove-spiked chocolate, roasted hazelnut and a bright lift of candied citrus.
Finish
Medium-long, warming and gently dry—lingering PX-soaked fruitcake, soft oak spice and a final flourish of vanilla-malt sweetness.
