Description
There is something quite special about a perfectly matured, Highland single malt whisky. About the essence of a vintage year. Captured in a bottle, about finding a fleeting moment in time. The first release of Balblair 1999 is a copper-gold, full-bodied malt. On the nose there are the signature Balblair aromas; fresh green apples, perfumed with green apples, citrus fruits and vanilla. The aroma has a rich, full-bodied character. On the palate it is sweet and spicy, with notes of honey and vanilla, and hints of heather. Sweet and chocolate. On the finish the aroma holds onto notes of citrus with a soft spiciness and dried fruits, leading to a full-bodied, long finish. The long lasting, complex finish is a true Balblair.
