Dark chocolate and marzipan alongside rose and allspice make an appealing opening; plums, fudge and dried fruit give the palate a richer direction. The long finish of old oak and figs sounds like a satisfying close.

The contrast of plum and banana with fudge sounds especially appealing, while rose petals and allspice give the nose a more lifted edge alongside the chocolate and marzipan. Old oak and dried figs carry that weight through the finish. A coherent, dessert-leaning character, though not an especially close match for my usual preferences.
