Description

The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership is has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky. This 18 year old Bowmore, distilled in 1971, was bottled for the renowned Italian import company Sestante, founded in 1979 by Ernesto Mainardi.
