Description

This Bowmore 2003 18 Year Old is an excellent single malt, bottled by Decadent Drinks in 2022 as part of its Whisky Sponge collaboration. Decadent Drinks, a well-known Independent Bottler, matured this Islay expression for years in a single refill sherry butt. Unconventionally, it was taken out for some time and then transferred into another sherry butt to complete its 18-year maturation. This limited edition, Whisky Sponge Edition No.74, was decanted at 53.3% abv, with only 629 bottles produced. The bottle features a tongue-in-cheek depiction of Rembrandt's painting, 'The Storm On The Sea of Galilee'.
