Nose
Thick, rich and dense, with notes of heavily stewed fruits (plums and apricots), barley sugar, oak, coconut, pear drops and pineapple. With water, fruit notes become fresher and riper, with barley sugar and oak more prominent.
Palate
Thick and oily. Rich fruit, barley, oak, cinnamon, vanilla and white pepper. With water, the burn subsides, revealing summer fruits with light syrup.
Finish
Medium length, sweet and rich, a little dry. Cosy, warming. With water, dryness is removed, keeping rich aftertaste, with mild notes of brown sugar, honey and vanilla.
