Nose
Quite peated with candied white fruit (apples, pears), walnuts, chicken broth, maritime notes, dried fish, and a whiff of diesel. Earthy smoke, barbecue ashes, smoked fish, tequila, and a lightly medicinal hint of menthol.
Palate
Initially sweet with vanilla and crème brûlée, followed by peat, darker fruits, engine oil, smoked lemons, cold ashes, black pepper, subtle vegetal notes, and a fat mouthfeel with fresh citrus.
Finish
Smoky, with peat slowly fading to reveal white orchard fruit, ashy notes, smoked pears, ink, olives, and a lingering saltiness.
