Description

At Bunnahabhain we have become renowned for our unpeated, classically sherried single malts, but occasionally we like to try something a little unexpected, and this sensational smoky dram is just that. This 19-Year-Old Mòine (meaning smoky in Gaelic) was distilled on 10/12/2004 and rested in Bourbon casks before being transferred into the finest Madeira Hogsheads on 07/06/2016 to finish in Warehouse 8 in Bunnahabhain. Bottled in 2024 this perfectly balanced combination of deep peppery peat smoke and rich, sweet Madeira wine cask delivers notes of stewed fruits and nuts at the forefront with a lingering tail of smoke. An exceptional dram to celebrate near and far. Slàinte!
