This is a single cask bottling from Chain Pier, a small experimental pilot distillery in Edinburgh that operated between 2018 and 2019, producing the first single malt in the city for almost a century. Only 30 casks were ever filled, and this release from independent bottler Little Brown Dog Spirits is one of only 52 bottles available. Little Brown Dog Spirits, also known as 'LBD', was formed in 2013 by Andrew Smith and is based in rural Aberdeenshire, Scotland. They are an experimental micro distillery and independent bottler, known for producing handcrafted alcohol in smaller quantities and selecting interesting single casks.
