This Chichibu Ichiro's Malt & Grain Cask 13482, named 'Spirits of Salud', is a limited edition single cask blended whisky. It was matured for 3.5 years in a first-fill Château Gruaud Larose red wine cask. The blend incorporates malt and grain whiskies from around the world, including Japan, Scotland, Ireland, the US, and Canada, with some components aged between 10 to 40+ years, including stock from the Chichibu and closed Hanyu distilleries. It was bottled in 2023 at a natural cask strength of 59.8% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with no added color.
