Description

Signatory was founded by Andrew Symington in 1999. After discovering single cask single malt whisky while managing Prestonfield House Hotel, Andrew bought his first cask, a Glenlivet 1968, and is now one of the largest independent bottlers in Scotland. Caramelized sweet cherries, breakfast roll with sugared cinnamon, beeswax, sweet tangerines and oranges, a little saltiness and dried fruit, honey, nutty sherry, toffee, waffle cone, apples and pears.
Palate
Thick and oily mouthfeel, spicy, waxy, caramelized cherries, nutmeg, sweet vanilla, salty, honey sweetness, tangerines, lemon, peppery, plums, figs, tobacco, dried fruits and nuts.
Finish
A little bitter, tart cherries then sweet cherries, spicy caramel, mid-long, salt, red fruits, lemon, hint of caramel and pepper, dates, milk chocolate, salty note, citrus, leather.
