Description

Distilled at Dailuaine on the 7th of May 2008, this 15 year old single malt was initially matured in an ex-Oloroso Butt before being finished in a 1st Fill ex-PX Butt. This was then bottled by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society, yielding 552 bottles.

Exceptional dried stone fruit and roasted nuts, tense fresh exotic wood (sandalwood & cedar), hints of smoky frankincense, dried mint, almond butter, burnt orange peel and heather.
Palate
Apricot candies, roasted nuts, caramel candies, bitter barks, sweetened black tea, old leather and chocolate covered golden raisins.
Finish
Dark dried fruit, raisins, dried plum, and apricots, with hints of cooling mint and more vibrant coffee.
