Description

Dalmore distillery was used as a deep-sea mine production centre by the Royal Navy between 1917 and 1920. After the navy departed, the distillery was left in tatters, and - after a long compensation battle involving the House of Lords - the distillery was brought back online in 1922. Now Dalmore, under the stewardship of Richard Paterson, presents itself as a luxury brand with a history of wealthy ... This 2005 vintage single malt from Dalmore was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks and bottled as part of its Vintage Collection. It represents 18 years of careful maturation, bottled in 2023 at natural colour and non-chill filtered to preserve full integrity of flavour.
