Description

Dewar's 12 Years Old The Ancestor is a premium blended Scotch whisky, known for its 'double aging' process where the blend is married in oak casks for an additional six months after initial maturation and blending. Comprised of whiskies from over 40 malt and grain distilleries, with Aberfeldy single malt forming the heart of the blend, it is aged for a minimum of 12 years. This expression is celebrated for its smooth, rich taste with notes of dried fruit, citrus, and vanilla. It has received numerous accolades, including Best Blended Scotch, 12 Years Old at the 2024 International Whisky Competition and a Double Gold at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
