Rich and heady, with notes of unctuous cane sugar, roasted pineapple, pear, and mirabelle plum, complemented by subtle malted notes and an elegant rum ester tone reminiscent of Hampden.
Palate
Harmonious and soft, balancing warm cane sugar with herbaceous malt freshness. Nuances of vanilla, verbena, and dandelion, along with juicy pineapple, lime zest, ripe mango, sweet rum cake, toffee, vanilla cream, and delicate caramel notes. Spicy, slightly funky nuances from the Hampden cask.
Finish
Long, fruit-driven, and warm. Lingering tropical fruit notes, gentle rum spice, malt, vanilla, and a fine wood structure. Notes of barley porridge, orgeat syrup, almond, banana, walnut, fresh almond, with a licorice bitterness, saline, and mentholated breath.
