Nose
Strawberry laces, malty bread with butter, a drizzle of caramel; American-style pancakes with maple syrup, plus a savoury edge of oak; creamy and fruity, honey, Werter's Echte (caramel toffee), lemon pastry, bananas and green apples, overripe pears, hint of creamy vanilla, hint of pine needles.
Palate
Cola cubes, dates, a hint of paprika spiciness; subtly earthy and vegetal, but never losing sight of maple syrup sweetness; less creamy than the nose suggests, fresh fruits, lemons, oranges and Granny Smith apples, vanilla, hint of grapefruit, some caramel, touch of white pepper.
Finish
Vanilla pod, orange peel, and walnut; buttered popcorn, cut grass, and honeyed porridge; long with mainly Granny Smith apples and grapefruit.
