Nose
Delightful aroma with green grass, sugar syrup, mango, peach, pineapple, creamy butterscotch pie, and a little mustiness with old wood laced with citrus oils. Light, with lemon cordial, gooseberries, green apple peelings, green tea with lemongrass, a waxy, oily side, and a faint flinty touch.
Palate
Extremely rich and very balanced in flavour. Good start with pomegranate, fresh sour green apple (skin and flesh), ginger juice, foam bananas, a slight toffee note, and sweet vanilla notes. Pure no-nonsense whisky, distillate-driven with hoppy fruits, wine gums, green tea, hints of sweet malt, ginger, pear eau-de-vie, zesty notes, and traces of limoncello.
Finish
Very smooth and long, with a good medium length. Notes of lemon zest, sweet grass, ginger, and a light hint of Schweppes.
