Glen Scotia Campbeltown Saga Release No. 1 Whiskyopolis 14 Year Old, Bourbon Cask, 2025, 50%

The second-oldest operating distillery in Campbeltown and one of the smallest in Scotland. Despite a turbulent 20th century, the distillery and its brand has enjoyed success in recent years under the ownership of Loch Lomond Group. The Campbeltown Saga is an exclusive whisky series that reinterprets the important heritage of the traditional harbour town of Campbeltown, known as 'Whiskyopolis' in the 19th century. This first release, 'Whiskyopolis Vintage 2011 Medium Peated', deliberately draws on the historic style of Campbeltown whiskies, using rare, medium-peated first-fill Bourbon casks. It is non-chill filtered and has natural color, aiming to revive the original character of Campbeltown whiskies.
