Description

To craft the GlenAllachie Wine Series, the spirit was first expertly matured in American Oak ex-Bourbon barrels before undergoing additional maturation in wine barriques. This release blends four exceptional red wine finishes, with barriques hand-selected by Distiller Billy Walker from renowned AOC regions of Languedoc and Roussillon in France, and premium Grattamacco and Recioto della Valpolicella barriques from Italy. The harmonious marriage of these casks contributes rich flavours, adding layers of robust red fruits, subtle spice, and hints of orange zest to the sweet, vanilla notes from the initial ex-Bourbon oak aging, delivering an exceptionally opulent drinking experience.
