Muted with golden raisin, orange, fresh tobacco, faded cigar smoke, subtle earthy notes, dried mushroom. With water, more complex, darker, more earthy, dried tobacco, leather, classy orange, caramel digestive biscuits, dark chocolate, and cherry.
Palate
Soft arrival, golden raisin, golden syrup, barley, malt, tobacco, dark chocolate, fresh citrus (orange, tangy lime), becoming spirity with lemon peel and juniper. With water, softer, much better balance, orange oil, classy oak, earthy, dry with leather and chocolate, cherry, raspberry, malt, golden raisin, and golden syrup.
Finish
Medium length, a little spirity and almost gin-like with juniper and mint.
